Recently, I’ve been quilting some projects to give as gifts. For practice, I made a few placemats for us to get better at binding. I mentioned to my husband how awkward it is to hold a long binding strip and sew it on correctly. When I demonstrated, he kinda laughed and said “I can make something for you.”

Voila - here’s version 4 of his idea – The Binder Winder. Just attach it to your sewing surface, wind the binding strip and sew on your binding with ease! No more strips on your shoulders/lap/the floor. The winder keeps the ironed strip in place while sewing and makes attaching it to your quilting project so much easier.

-- Allows binding strips up to 3” wide (when folded/on the winder).
-- Large fits sewing tables/desks up to 1 3/4 " thick.

Written instructions including with binder winder.
